Digestive breads

This bread slices made with whole wheat flour and whole grains are a good source of fiber for your digestive health. There are fast to make and cand be consumed as a snack too, so hold them under locket… they’ll disappear faster than you  imagine. :)
Ingredients:
  • 150 g whole wheat flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • zest from one lemon (optional)
  • 1/2-1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2-1 cup warm water
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.

Add the water and oil. Knead dough until it feels smooth and is no longer sticky.
Add water until you have a soft dough, if you make a stiff dough  they will turn intro dry breads.

Roll dough into a 1/2 cm thickness and cut into rectangular pieces.

Place them on a cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. If you bake them to long you will end with dry breads.

These healthy little breads are an excellent substitute for white bread slices.
